Question:

What is sufficient compensation after someone's youth is taken from them because of wrongful imprisonment?

Particularly with people who were imprisoned early and have served 20 years or more and are now middle aged or later, only to be freed after we find their innocence which they've known all along.

  1. These people get attorneys to battle it out in court.

    Not that money can truly compensate for it, but it does make the rest of their lives a bit easier.


  2. This is determined by the court ( jury) and or judge hearing this matter. The monies could, depending on the state, or federal,  be in the millions.
