What is säärihaava, in english?

One of my frieds from finland told me that ths has säärihaava, i looked in several dictionaries but I did not found it, please do you know how is that call in english, and is it bad? Thaks a lot.

säärihaava = an ulcer (open wound) usually due to poor blood circulation.
