  3. Hello,

Basically, Temporary Internet Files are files which are downloaded from the internet while you are browsing. For example, if you go to Google, your computer will store googlelogo.jpg or something like that into your Main Drive (Preferably C:/)

Temporary files can be stuff like .exe,.mp3 and so much more. Basically when you download something from the net, you are given either a Open or Save button. If you click open, it stores it in your temporary files, however if you click save, it saves it in your own location!

You can find the temporary files within : C:/Documents and Settings/Owner/Local Settings/Temporary Internet Files/Content.IE5

Note that from : Local Settings/Temporary Internet Files/Content.IE5  - This is hidden and you will need to unhide it or type it all in your address bar making sure you change the "Owner" to your login name

    Thanks,

    Admin

  4. Temporary Internet Files is a directory on Microsoft Windows computer systems. The directory is used by web browser Internet Explorer to cache pages and other multimedia content, such as video and audio files, from websites visited by the user. This allows such websites to load more quickly the next time they are visited.
