have you seen the movie "A Clockwork Orange"?

Many scenes were filmed here and that was when it was just newly built. It has since then slowly decayed and is now not the nicest place in London.

As for distance from central London it is 9.4 miles (15.1 km) east of Charing Cross.

sorry mate,

  it is probably one of the worst parts of london, if not the WORST, its a right dump. (sorry to anyone who lives there) it is about 40 mins from central london. high crime rate, unsafe and wouldnt be an ideal place to live!
