it is the camera that is usually moves over everyone; usually seen during concerts and music shows...? Anyone? Thanks!

  1. It can be almost any video camera - the mounting thing is called a "camera crane" or "camera jib".

    They are used for more than just music videos.

    Also, if the crane needs to be long, the materials need to be strong so nothing breaks and falls on the audience.

    Since the camera is so far away from the camera operator, you need to connect a monitor to the camera's AV-out so you can see what the camera sees - and it would be helpful for the camcorder to have a LANC port to control zoom and focus.
