What is that green ice cream looking stuff on princess diaries?

Im talking about the green cold stuff Mia the Prime Minister and his wife choke on at the state dinner party. It has to be something or it could'nt have been there. It did'nt look like ice cream what was it?

It was probably sorbet. It is used as a between meals "snack" it is used to cleanse the pallat.
