What is that liquid called that u pass out instantly?

Like in the movies u pour it in a cloth n put it in someones face. What is that liquid called and where can i get it?

It is called chloroform, or sometimes ether, but neither work like in the movies.

it takes a longer time to pass out, and the person can become very violent and fight it off in the process. Some people don't actually go "out" but just become incredibly sick and the sickness can last for hours.
