What is that single most important thing apart from luck to succeed in business?

I mean hardword, business plan, focus, sound research, top notch team ..all these things are ok . Been there . Done that. But somehow , something more esoteric about succeeding in your own business.

For me, it has been being able to manage multiple projects effectively, profitably and efficiently, problem solving and the ability to think on my feet.  When you own a business, you are constantly running into something that isn't going the way you anticipated and it is up to you to pacify everyone involved and still get the job done.  You are not only managing people, some of whom don't work for you, some of whom are your clients, some of whom are a necessary evil to deal with in the scope of things, but you are also managing time, supplies, production, resources and money, yours and your clients.

Besides spelling and punctuation, I would say having a good idea.  

If you already have that, then I would say enough funding (deep pockets) to set your business up properly (advertising, good location, good employees, etc.,)
