What is that thick shake from starbucks that looks like chocolate and everyone drinks it?

It could be a few drinks. Just remember the following rules (coffee base: tall: 1 pump, grande: 1 pumps, venti: 2 pumps / creme base: tall: 2 pumps, grande: 3  pumps, venti: 4 pumps / the scoop amount of chips pretty much follow the same amount)

- Double Chocolatly chip Frapp - Creme base (no coffee)+ mocha (our thick dark chocolate sauce/syrup)+ dark chocolate chips+ whip cream+ chocolate drizzle

- Java Chip Frapp - Coffee base+ mocha+ dark chocolate chips+ whip cream+ chocolate drizzle

- Mocha Frapp - Coffee base+ mocha+ whip cream

- Mint Mocha Chip Frapp - Coffee (or creme) base+ mocha+ mint chocolate chip syrup+ dark chocolate chips+ chocolate whip cream+ chocolate drizzle

There are endless varieties..I have a few customers that just want creme base and mocha syrup. Or ones who want just strawberry sauce and mocha syrup..

It's either a coffee-based beverage like the Frappuccinos (Mocha, Coffee, Caramel, Chocolaty Chip etc..) which is mainly ice, and creamy coffee with squirts of mocha sauce or chocolate chips.

Or, it could be the new Vivanno drink. It's the Banana Chocolate "nourishing blend" composed of an entire banana, mocha sauce, protein and fiber powder, and 2% milk. It's SBUX's integration of health products into our lives.

what you have seen is most likely the Caramel Frappuccino or Mocha Frappuccino. Caramel is the most popular by far... usually served with whip cream and thick caramel sauce on top.

Lots of sugar and calories though! But yummy.

Mocha Frappachino.  It is chocolate.  I have mine made with first a shot of espresso with several extra squirts of chocolate in the bottom.  Then they crush the ice in with the chocolate milk and pour that in my cup.  I have them drizzle some more chocolate across the top of that.  To that they slowly pour another shot of espresso which slowly goes down the insides of the cup. Then of course the whipped cream on the top and that gets drizzled with more chocolate syrup.  Yum...I just had one today.
