When you first turn on your car, what does the RPM read when it is still idle for a Toyota 2007-2009 Camry.

  1. Doesn't matter, the computer controls the idle speed and the idle speed is directly related to ambient air temperature, coolant temperature, if the a/c is enabled, etc.  


  2. Usually between 500 and 700 rpm's but that is irrelevant because the computer controls that function by means of a idle air control valve.
