  1. I know acid rain is one of the biggest killers!

  2. I'm guessing forrest fires.  Remember Smokey The Bear says 'Only You Can Prevent Forrest Fires".

  3. The 'Armillariella mellea' group, now ask me a tough one.

  4. I would think it's the paper industry....I lived in the Fox Valley for years and there are paper plants EVERYWHERE!

  5. logging, to clear farms and for wood use.

  6. Probably farms. They cut down the trees to get the farms. Didn't even think Wisconsin had trees.

  7. yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. same as everywhere else - overdevelopment

  9. Probably dutch elm disease, now there's a new bug/disease affecting poplar trees. It could be very dangerous to us as we have a lot of poplar trees. The DNR is warning people not to transfer fire wood to avoid helping spread. There are lots of trees in Wisconsin. The paper industry is big here. We are not a giant cow pie. Most farms are small,  many  have died out as they were to small to be profitable any longer. We don't have many forest fires.(KNOCK ON WOOD!)

  10. humans

  11. people.

  12. Either fires, man chopping them down to make toilet paper, or insects.

    I choose man.

  13. Would that be all the hot air from politicians?

  14. Evergreen fungal infections would have to be a big concern in heavily wooded areas.  I would have to say pollution.
