My husband and I are looking at one. Is it a good car? It has 102, 000 km on it, and it is being sold for $4000.

  1. I wouldn't pay $4000 for any car with that many miles on it.

  2. I have one that I bought new.  It's been pretty good and reliable.  Lots of little electrical problems thou.  Lights don't work in the ceiling when you open doors.  Fog lights went. Cd player is iffy. Light in dash is out. One brake light is out. Mine has about 90,000 on it and two different car places have advised that it is time to get rid of it.  They claim that I will start encountering many front end problems.  That is a lot of money for a car with that many miles on it thou.  Check out Edmund's and Kelley Blue book for more info on that car.  I am looking at an 2006 Stratus that has 5500 miles on it.  So I may do that.  I think they will only give me about 2000 for my 1999.

  3. do not buy this car its a piece of c**p , tons of problems espically transmission problems, i wouldnt pay more then 1500 for this c**p

  4. those are real good cars but its not worth no 4 grand, not with that many miles on it,they last real good,i know because we own a 98 model with more miles than that on it but their not worth that much money, their asking way too much on this one, that car is only worth about 1800-to 2000 at the most and that's if its in excellent condition, try and get the price down more than that,or id pass on it,good luck .
