  1. Your question is something to do with the term permutation.

Go to Wikipedia and try to understand the explanation.

Maybe in that way you will know. Try to surf other websites.

  2. 3,999 because you add the number,2000, and times it by 2, 4000, and then subtract it by one, 3,999 and that is how i got my answer.

    i got this formula:

    x*2-1=??? (or 2x-1=???)

    or/and

    1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9...

    1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17...

and this is how i got my answer

  3. It should be 3,999.

    The rule is __th term x 2 - 1

So the 2,000th term multiplied by 2 is 4,000 subtract 1 is 3,999.

  4. The pattern is 2n-1

    So it would be 3,999

  5. 3999

    1st term = (2*1) -1 = 1

    2nd term = (2*2) -1 = 3

    3rd term = (2*3) -1 = 5

    4th term = (2*4) -1 = 7

    5th term = (2*5) -1 = 9

    ...

    2000th term = (2*2000) -1 = 3999
