  1. greeted by teacher/care taker upon arrival

    depending upon arrival time....the room may include other children of different ages until other workers arrive

    during this time there may be a educational video playing as well as opportunities for coloring, puzzles, reading etc.

    once settled in to their regular class w/their other class mates

    snack time

    clean up

    potty break

    scheduled/planned activities for the theme for the week (ex. farm week, community helpers, numbers, letters, families)

    singing

    reading

    craft

    potty break

    free play outside/inside

    clean up

    lunch preparation

    potty break

    nap

    free play outside/inside

    snack

    coloring, puzzles

    reading time/question time

    review of day's activity focus

    get ready to go home, merge rooms as children start leaving to allow for worker's leaving also (great time for the kids to see their older and younger friends in the center and to have time w/other teachers)

    verbal communication w/parent upon pick-up of child as to how their day went


  2. This is our schedule for preschool - not daycare - so I don't know if this is what you are looking for

    25 minutes of social time and table top activities (small motor) - this includes conversation with the teacher and other students

    Circle time with attendance, calendar, name game, song and story

    Music time

    Skill sheet (very short)

    craft

    wash hands and snack

    free choice activities which includes an art activity, sensory activities, science and math, housekeeping, transportation and blocks

  3. AM Snack/breakfast if provided

    Circle Time (calendar, story, group activity, etc)

    Small Group (planned activity by teacher done in groups of 6 or less)

    Free Play time (Learning Centers)

    Possibly another brief group time

    Outdoors/Large Motor
