  1. International relations and projects in other countries.

  2. International jobs can be those overseas or those domestic assignments with organizations who serve an international mission. For example, you might have an assignment with an import/export company in NYC, moving goods and products around the globe. You might be working with a non profit organization stationed in Dallas, and travel overseas on assignment twice a month. Or you might work abroad for the Department of State and move every few years to another embassy in another country. While these examples are all considered international jobs, they are very different. It is also important to acknowledge that not all international assignments are made immediately. Many organizations will want you to prove yourself before they assign you to an overseas post. Many jobs will require cultural and language skills. It is helpful to keep an open mind as you explore international job opportunities and not eliminate possible opportunities because a job abroad with any organization might be two years in your future with their organization.
