The third longest river in Africa is Niger River... and Nigeria is a place in Africa and the niger river does run through it. Benue is the secong largest river in Nigeria and is a tributarie to the niger river. But that is all I know....

The largest river would be the niger with 4180km,second the Benue with 1,400km long. So the third longest river is the Gongola!
