  1. More than 150,000 Amish live in the U.S. with settlements in as many as 24 states. Holmes county in Ohio is the home to the largest Amish settlement.

  2. There are about 200,000 Amish in the US with the largest population center being Holmes County, OH followed by Lancaster County, PA and La Grange IN. There are old order groups in 21 states. There are also about 1500 in the Canadian province of Ontario. Their numbers are growing. Sorry, but I don't know the figures for Mennonites, but they are more widespread than the Amish in the US and have members in other countries.
