  1. yeah, baby

  2. The 4 dimensional study of a human emotion. How has love evolved? What is it's history and manifestations. How is it used and what is it's purpose, etc.

  3. Love is truly caring for the other person for the other person's sake, and not for what one can get out of it.

Of course, you don't neglect your own needs in a love relationship, but in true love there is a self-transcendence that goes out to the other, precisely as other.

This is a metaphysical answer, but it is so often assumed that any answer to any question involving human nature must be in accord with the paradigms of the accepted material sciences, which is a false assumption to make.

There is transcendental science, whose pervu is beyond the scope of the normal physical sciences (such a synchronicity and metaphasics), preternatural influence that comes from finite spirits, and supernatural influence that comes from God.

    See.

  4. I would assume that this is referring to the subfield of cultural anthropology.  Cultural anthropologists would study mating rituals, how a culture defines love, etc...

If it is referring to other subfields of anthropology then here would be my breakdown: Physical anthropologists would study the various chemicals and biological factors in human love, archaeologists would use ancient artifacts in analyzing love in past cultures, and linguistic anthropologists would study how love is communicated in various cultures and what terms are used in communicating love between various relationships ie parent to child, partner to partner, etc...
