What is the BEST Anti-Virus Software?

I'm looking to buy one for less than $50.00 and only for one user. I DON'T want any FREE software security!!!

actually, F-Prot is a good anti-virus.

VERY cheap.

and even cheaper if you are protecting multiple computers.

and NO VIRUSES BUILT IN like with Norton.

Don't use anything else, I've used Norton, Trend micro and other's and got viruses!

McAfee works very well. Its affordable and doesnt annoy you with constan pop-ups like Norton does.

There are lots AV's you will find like  

1. Norton- makes your system slower

2. AVG-good

3.quick heal-very good

But i think the best AV is kaspersky ,it completely protects your system and you don't have to care.

You will have to pay for that first.

Do not download AntiVirus 2008.

it gets glued to your computer and will block every internet site you go to, even your own email.

It's terrible!

and it hides, so it's not easy to get rid of.
