  1. the best drugstore one i think is covergirl aquasmooth, i love this stuff it's super buildable from light to full coverage and it doesn't look cakey at all, i use it everyday.  If you looking for a more expensive highend one either mac studio fix fluid or mac mineralize satinfinish work great.  hope this helps

  2. Virgin Vie - One Step Face Base

  3. Every ones skin is different, and if you not bothered by price, I suggest you go to some where like Debenhams where you can have a specialist test your skin type (for free) and they recommend you a foundation. They then put it on you and if you like it you can buy it, if not they will try another one.

At the moment I am using Clinique Super Balanced (oil and fragrance free £20.99)

  4. i'd say covergirl because it blends in with your skin

  5. Clinique Superfit makeup. It's oil free and its really long lasting. I have very oily skin & need a good coverage without feeling like I wear a mask. Ask for a sample at the counter. You should do this with the more expensive brands  - it will save you making expensive mistakes (I have made many). Also what is good for one person may not be suitable for you. Have fun trying. Good luck

  6. If you are looking for the BEST foundation there are many things to consider to qualify it as the best. 1)  Do they use a lot of preservatives and fillers  2) is it good for my skin  3) will I look flawless etc...

I am a professional makeup artist and I do many high end events such as photo shoots, weddings etc...  I have used sooo many Brands and products through the years and have come up with this from my experience. I deal with a LOT of high end women who are freaks about what goes on their face, they want a product that is basically "GREEN" all natural no preservatives etc... It was hard for me to explain that the chemicals in clinique, estee lauder, big brands etc that they often had derivitaves of break fluid (propelyne glycol) and other nasty chemicals that I was massaging into their skin. I wanted to use something that I could achieve the flawless look I was going for yet without the chemicals. I found a chicago based mineral makeup company called Faerie Organic and I have been using it since. No preservatives, no cheap fillers, actually good for your skin while covering realy well and leaving a gorgeous glow. I consider this from my experience to be the best foundation. I even personally wear the foundation on days I go without makeup as it has natural SPF which protects me from the sun. You should check it out. They have a FREE sample kit at their site that comes with all you need to try. (you just pay shipping like $5.99) http://www.faerieorganic.com

  10. BeneFit foundation or tinted moisturiser is BRILLIANT. It covers well, isn't oily and I found it to be comfortable on my skin-you can't feel it at all once its on!

Also.....give BeneFit "Dr Feelgood" a try-it goes on and evens skintone without giving you oily skin.

The tinted moisuriser is called "You Rebel"

  11. I love clinique foundation! Love it! It's £18.50 a bottle but very worth it. Try the light foundation for great coverage.

  13. This is a supid way to find out ... .because everyones skin is different either dry/oily/combination .... some people like creams/powder/mineral etc etc ... if ur wanting a brand then id say foundation is one where u are best spending a little extra ... either MAC or Lancome or Dior!!! Your best bet is to set urself a budget and go to a department store and go round the counters and asking the professionals make up advice! They will be able to tell u .... Another thing ... do u really need foundation or could you get a nice tinted moisturiser instead??

Either way test a few brands and different varieities good luck x*x
