We once gave a waitress a $20 tip on New Years Eve, our bill was like $20, and we told her that since she had to work NY eve, then she deserved it.

We gave another waitress a $50 tip, but that was because of Christmas. And my hairdresser, I gave her $50 for Christmas too.

Now I'm a waitress, and before my birthday, I was yapping to customers, and the guy gave me $50 for a tip and said to enjoy my birthday. And my now husband, when we were dating, I was having a bad day, and he said "what would make you day?" and I said "A fifty dollar tip" and he left it for a $5 bill!!
