One that has a caramel-white chocolate and honey roasted peanut center - then dipped in dark milk chocolate.

P.S. I am assuming you are speaking of the chocolate candy type truffles and not the mushroom type truffles.

Chocolate chip cookie dough truffles.  Cookie dough on the inside (without eggs) and chocolate coating on the outside.  I haven&#039;t had one in a long time.  I think I should make some...

As chocolatier I made and tasted a lot of truffles. But my all time favorite is the Baileys Irish Cream Truffle. Very easy to make, very delicious. I make these myself and that (I think) adds to the experience.

Here&#039;s the recipe:

Ingredients:

12 oz semi-sweet chocolate morsels

1/4 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon butter

2 each egg yolks

1/4 cup baileys irish cream

Instructions

First melt the chocolate, the Baileys and the heavy cream together over very low heat. Whisk in yolks, one at a time; mixture will thicken. Whisk in butter. Refrigerate overnight, or until firm. With spoon make small balls. Roll in powdered sugar, cocoa, chopped nuts.

And that&#039;s it.

The number of truffles made depends on how small you make them.

if you want you can dip in chocolate but I prefer without that shell.
