I have always thought Napa Valley and Santa Barbara right here in California are just gorgeous during the summer. Beautiful beaches and delicious wines. :]

the Dominican republic i would recommend Puerto Plata(city in D.R) is near airport, the best resorts in the country are found in this city and the best beaches, the food is delicious specially mangu(food made with plantain and other ingredients) the people are great, i learn how to dance bachata, merengue and even mambo, it was a great experience, and trust me i have travel all the continents and this is the best place there is.

definitely hawaii! oahu is a great island. you can hit the beach, go shopping at Ala Moana (biggest outdoor mall in America) and then eat a shave ice--best things to do in the summer!
