I have oily skin, often my makeup smears, creases, turns orange looking, or cakes. But sometimes my skin is dry and flakes. I have redness around my nose, and chin and I have very dark circles under my eyes and the occasion blemish. What is the best concealer for this?? I used to use concealer, foundation, powder..but Im trying to not wear so much makeup so I've just using concealer and powder. I have tryed Benefit Boiing, and it sucked..and many cheap brands that you can buy at Walmart & CVS suck too..and I was told mineral powder makeup is no good for people with my kinda skin... Right now I'm using MAC and its pretty good...I just didnt know if there was something better to use or if I should start using a makeup primer or also use a spray foundation or something?? I want a flawless face...Help

  1. Try Dermablend it's great!! I have oily skin too and it helps me soo much....you can find it at macys or sephora

  2. A primer would be ideal for your skin type, since I see you're a MAC user, I would suggest MAC Prep and Prime, or Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, this will also help your make up from oxidizing( the natural oils in your skin mix with the foundation and makes it turn orange) , and can help with creasing. I would highly recommend using MACs Fix + which will take away the cakey powdery look.

My favorite concealer is Benefits Erase Paste, it's a brightening concealer and cover really well. I also have prominent dark circles, and this works magically.

  3. I would definitely use a primer if you have oily skin. Philosophy never let them see you shine is great and costs about $20. My secret concealer is called TV touch. It is a fav among makeup artists, beauty queens, etc. It comes in a creamy pot and costs about $8, You can get it at the websites listed below. Apply with a conceler brush or a triangle sponge.A little goes a long way. It comes in 5 colors and really works wonders, it also lasts a long time.

I put it on at 630am before work, and still looks great at 6pm when I get home! I hope this helps you! :-)
