Question:

What is the Best Double or Single Stroller for tall people to have?

I have had 4 different strollers by four different manufacturers and they are all just tall enough when I push them that I hunch in an uncomfortable postion. I recently bought the baby trend sit n stand which has enough height on it but the pushing handle is so narrow its hard to turn. I perfer double stroller suggestions, I am not a fan of the side by side strollers. I have seen some strollers now that have the upward design handles, does that make those strollers taller? Thanks for any suggestions.

  1. Try them out before you buy. You can take them down off the shelf.

  2. Many of the top end strollers have telescoping handles now so they can accomodate a taller person.  Jogging strollers also tend to have handles that sit higher up and are super easy to handle but a double jogger wouldn't work for you as they are side by side.  My problem has always been less about the handle height and more about the stride length.  I went through 3 different strollers before I found one that I wasn't always kicking.

    Good Luck

  3. I'm tall and still wear heels sometimes.

I have the Perego Pliko as my single (telescoping handles that extend) and the Joovy Caboose as my double (I don't have twins, mine are 2yrs apart). I can push both comfortably with or without heels.

Sometimes my 3yr old stands on the back of my Pliko, with the baby in the seat, so the Joovy doesn't get as much use as I thought it would but it was good in the beginning.
