What is the Best Hamster Feed to Feed a Young Hamster?

Question

I think I'm buying this young hamster(almost two months old)and I want to get off to a great start and hopefully end great as well.I know besides feed I should feed a Syrian additional oats,fruits,and vegetables.(I have a whole list on what and what not to feed)So, besides that,I want to know about the best feed to be feeding.Please don't give me a feed with Ethoxyquin(a preservative)because it can cause cancer in small animals.Thanks a lot and please answer asap because I think I will have my family's decision tomorrow.Thanks again,

i think its old enough to eat any solid food

If you want something readily available in a pet shop, Mazuri lab block is a solid food. Oxbow is better, but it's not as widely available. It can be ordered from the website, though.

why don't u try giving him small amounts of milk? and no matter how young he is, u can still feed him regular hamster food. it's more good for his teeth.

i have a 1 1/2 month old panda hamster and i feed her some nutriphase with some vitadrops for nutrition to strengthen them from sickness
