  1. Crest Pro-Health.

  2. white toothpaste

  3. There are NO toothpastes that actually whiten your teeth, it is only a marketing ploy. They are able to call themselves whitening toothpastes because the very act of cleaning whitens the teeth, but it does not make the colour of clean teeth any whiter. Ask any dentist and they will tell you this.

There are two ways to whiten teeth, bleach them or get new crowns. If you already have crowns you cannot bleach them, there is not a crown in the world that will bleach, due to the material they are made of.

Ask your dentist for advice on the best way forward.

  4. I been using Arm & Hammer with baking soda and peroxide for years. I will never switch unless I were to find something better but I haven't.

  5. colgate

  6. Anything with baking soda in the toothpaste may help shift stains, to be honest, I don't think any of them do what they claim to do! It's all a marketing ploy! Arm & Hammer is good. My mother had her teeth whitened a few weeks back professionally, cost about £300. It's well worth the money.

I agree with Paul M above.

  7. Not sure which is best but I do know (from dentist who is friend) that they are all bad for your teeth and do a bit of damage. So I would say that if you have other dental problems, esp weak or sensitive enamel or decay, do not use them.  If your teeth are A-okay then give them a try  - choose a gentle one like Colgate Total inc whitening.  But you might be better off speaking to a dentist about whether you are suitable for a more effective, professional whitening treatment.

Meantime  - if female - don't wear orangy toned lipstick - makes the teeth look yellower.

  8. The Beverley Hills toothpaste range was recommended in one of the dental magazines about 3 years back as being good, I haven't tried it though.

The only sure fire way to get whiter teeth is to have them bleached or embark on a course of having crowns, white fillings, veneers etc.

I've had mine bleached and it was far superior than any whitening toothpaste.

  9. eucrule tooth powder for smokers is very good

  10. Crest

  11. Smoker's tooth powder... eucryl or something!...

  12. Any toothpaste mixed with baking soda
