My favorite rum is 10 Cane. It's from Trinidad and goes for about 30 bucks in the U.S. Very smooth, and excellent on the rocks with a squeeze of lime.

Vodka. There are so many out there. I'm burnt on trying them all. I'd say the best I've come across to date is Grey Goose.

Vodka - Chopin, Grey Goose, Absolut, Stolichnaya

Rum - Bacardi white, Myers dark

Vodka is virtually flavorless.  It's made to be drunk ice cold, in straight shots.  Rum has a strong bite.  It's usually mixed with juice or soda.

I normally drink beer, but my vodka of choice is called EFFEN it's hard to find in some places but it's yummy.

For rum I prefer good ol' Barcadi silver. As for vodka I used to be into Ketle One, but now I'm liking Svedka.

I ratter like rum as rum you do alot of mixing with drinks as vodka not alot.

Grey Goose hands down for the vodka. Cruzan Rum from the Virgin Islands is really smooth.

Sky vodka and Captain morgans private stock rum if you want a good shot.  If you are making cocktails then use bacardi

Don't drink absolut vodka after that commercial they put out

it's all preference, and I prefer Kilo Kai Rum, but it's hard to find and usually go with absolut or grey goose vodka
