  2. Incredibly broad question you have there.  Here are some suggestions.

    1. Get to bed no later than 11:00pm.  The Gallbladder needs to be rested by 11:00, the Liver by 1:00.  They are the "husband-wife" pair (wood element).

    2. Avoid stress.  This includes physical & mental.  Obviously dietary.  Anything that gets filtered through the liver tends to stress it out if overloaded.  Many western meds, coffee, alcohol, highly processed foods, artificial foods/colors/flavors.  Excessive amounts of sugar will also stress it.

    3. Drink lots of filtered or distilled water every day.

    4. Find an herbal formula called "Free & Easy Wanderer" (Xiao Yao San) or "Free & Easy Wanderer Plus" (Jia Wei Xiao Yao San).  Classic formula for Liver Qi Stagnation.

    5. Call a local acupuncturist/herbalist to schedule a few treatments.  They should also be able to prescribe these herbs.
