If you took 1 flight every day, for 20 years,

7300 flights, (which is more than flight attendants do fly),

then the chances of being in a crash on a "good" airline

would still only be 1 in 830.  0.12 % (1/8 of 1 percent)

With a "bad" airline, it goes up to 1 in 75,

or 1.3 % ... still pretty good odds.

(and I imagine this includes some rather dicey countries)

If you flew several times a day, every day, chances are that you would be in a plane crash ... after about 5000 years.
