What is the Charge or punishment for Mutual Combat?

Fight happend, me and another guy agreed to fight, we fought, he sustained some pretty heavy damage, i won with just a couple cuts. we both left agreeingly after the fight in different directions, he went the wrong direction into the cops. I didnt, i have a juvy record but not a adult record, we are both over 18. just would like to know what to expect if I run into the cops. Most say community service.

Assault and battery can carry a hefty sentence, but there needs to be a complaint lodged.

If the police witnessed the fight it would be disorderly conduct and assault charges for both.  If he went to the police and complained it could be gross misdemeanor assault, depending on the amount of damage.
