What is the Cost of flyfishing in Japan?

I know it varies from prefecture to area to stream or body of water.But in general is it more or less expensive than the U.S. I am moving to Japan and will be there for at least three years and want to know if I'll still be able to afford to go fishing. My wife is in the Army and we have three kids so money is not just dripping off of us. Thank you very much.

It seems most of Japanese famous deep and pure mountain streams, fertile rivers and lakes where the fishery co-ops have stocked a lot of cultivated  trout, salmon, carp, eel, shrimp and/or some more freshwater fish, controlled them and maintained the surroundings ask you to purchase ticket for fishing there. It varies by each fishery co-op how much you have to pay for the ticket but roughly about Yen1000 to 2000 per person/day is average accordingly.

入漁料 means admission/ticket and  Ã£ÂÂªÃ£ÂÂ—　means free.

The patrol officers go often around there so that he check fishers.

You may ask any convenience stores near the fishing spots to buy tickets.

If you try to hit sea bass at Tokyo bay wharf by fly-fishing there are several fishing park where is admission free.
