im doing an assignment and i want info on this place i looked in google but not much came up.

Nice is the major city there.  Truly a beautiful place.  And the Mediterranean is actually blue!  The French Riveria is, of course, known for lots of resort towns.  IMHO, the little towns are kind of boring for an American looking for a lot of stores, museums and historic buildings.  Those towns are more for French ppl used to living in big French cities and looking for some peace and quiet.
