What is the Difference between Biomass to Liquid (BTL) and Biodiesel?

  1. BTL-means a multi step process to produce liquid biofuels from biomass.so its got from biomass.

    Biodiesel-Biodiesel refers to a diesel-equivalent processed fuel derived from biological sources such as vegetable oils which can be used in unmodified diesel-engine vehicles.so it is got from vegetable oils which have mostly fuel like properties.


  2. Biomass to liquid is a more general term . Any biologial substance that is turned into a liquid fuel can be refered to as BTL. (More commonly ethanoel)

    Bio diesel refers to one area of BTL (diesel area). Ethanol is another.

  3. One is easier to remember...I just forgot which one.
