  1. I have a self cleaning oven, but don't like to use it.

I usually use the "easy offs" or the magic eraser.  The magic eraser works on almost EVERYTHING.  I would suggest trying it.

  2. The two best ways I have tried are Easy Off and the pouring Ammonia in a bowl and letting it sit over night with the door closed ...... = )

  3. Before you go to bed, put a glass bowl full of clear ammonia and close the oven door, in the morning wipe it down, you will be amazed at what comes off.  For some reason if not everything does, do it again the next night, it will sparkle.

  4. Before I had a self cleaning oven I used easy-off. It's horrible for the environment and the fumes toxic to breathe, but it's the fastest and easiest way to clean your oven. (that's if you don't have a self cleaning oven) If you use it make sure that you keep the windows open and a fan going, then  you won't have to worry about inhaling the fumes. All you do is spray it on, wait and hour and all the crud wipes right up. No need to scrub or anything.

    Good luck.

  5. I don't think there is a easy way but what helps is to spray your oven with oven cleaner or a degreaser & let is soak over night. The next morning wipe out with paper towels. For the stuck on places take a scrubber to them & the oven racks. Take an old cloth and keep wiping and rinsing as oven cleaner will leave a white residue, but the degreaser won't leave a residue.(thats what I prefer)...

  6. Buy a self-cleaning oven!
