What is the Ethnicity of Bulgarian Gypsies?

They do not have same skin tone or features of the local, fair skinned, Bulgarians, but instead have a mocha skin tone that seems more of a mix of African, Arabic, and Indian all in one.

  1. The ethnicity is Roma. Ethnicity refers to cultural group.  

    The Roma people in Bulgaria can trace their roots to the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires which did quite a bit of traveling, trading, and mixing throughout the Eurasian continent so there is quite a blend of racial features that present themselves in today's Roma people.


  2. I never seen a Roma(Gypsy) that looked African. They normally look like people from India with many looking kind of European due to European men having children with them and occasionally marriage. They came from North India about a thousand years ago
