What is the Exchange for USDollars in India? (Rupees)?

I did a Westeren Union money Transfer, Could I have requested for the receiver to get US Dollars? or Rupees? which one gives the reciever more money?

When u send money through western union or Money-gram

to India only way person can receive dollars over there if

either person receiving over there is us citizen  other vise they

get rupees.

Today rate according to money gram is 42.83 but if u see the

doll or was around 43.85 but wiring company's never give

govt rate they fix there own rate but they r suppose to tell u

how much money in India will get.
