I'm looking for a prop to replace the one I have and most prop references ask for FOT rpm that is reccomended by the manufacturer. This is in a 67 Starcraft 18 Ft alum boat and I don't have a manual. Any Help would be great. Thanks

  1. Best I can do is somewhere between 4800 and 5200, but that assumes the eng is in good condition, which it might be, I've seen only one marine engine worn out in better than 35 years. Good luck!

  2. Now-a-days the manufacture puts a sticker on the motor that tells the WOT (Wide Open Throttle) RPM.  It will be close to impossible to find that on a 1967 plus the WOT RPM then and now after this many years of use should not be run most likely.
