What is the Gap Between BTC and AIT?

Yeah i just enlisted to national guard and i know i have 9 weeks of boot camp and then i have 7 weeks of AIT...now im wondering if there is a gap between the two or if its back to back and how long the gap is if there is one...any ifnormation about that and or anythign else would be muchly appreciated

For me it was less than a week.  I had just enough time to get to my tech school, get settled in and then start classes.  Not very long.

Usually in your sixth or seventh week you will receive orders letting you know your reporting date for AIT.

you will ship to your ait the day after you graduate basic. in that aspect there is no gap. However when you start your school is a diffrent story. It really depends on your mos. Just keep one thing in mind, 7 weeks is the time it will take to complete your school. Not your total time in ait. My ait was 24 weeks, however i didnt get a class for 5 weeks so i was there for 29 weeks.

However you should get a class withen 2 weeks, but you will still be in ait. Its not as bad as basic, but its close.
