What is the Gov. site to check the status of a piece of property located in Savannah, Georgia, USA on line?

Now I am living in Mexico but I inherit a small piece of property in Savannah, Georgia, USA; and I want to check if there is any problem, If I can get the property, but I am living in Mexico and I can not be traveling frequently so I would like to check the status first and then, if needed, I will go to Savannah...I only have the address, what could I do? Thanks

Try the Chatham County website and look at property records.  Savannah, Georgia is in Chatham County by the way.
