  1. Well, cousins are familiar, usually.

The word cousin is itoko いとこ.

    従弟 (male cousin)

    従妹 (female cousin)

    Both pronounced itoko.

If your cousin's name is Ichiro, then you can simply call him Ichiro.

For instance, when in conversation with my in-laws and in reference to my husband, Akiyuki, I rarely say, "Akiyuki-san." He is familiar to both parties, so the honorifics is left off.

If you are in conversation with a professor and say your cousin threw away your homework by accident, you refer to your cousin Hanz as, "itoko-hanz-san wa shukudai wo wasuremashita."

    Get it?

  2. well, we call each other by names. we dont add cousin in front of names.although if your cousin is older then you can add ''san'' after his/her name to show them respect. e.g Miyuki san/Hiroshi san.

if your consin is younger then you can add ''chan'' after his/her name to show them that you are trying to be friendly.

    hope this helps^.^
