  1. answer: It's one of the recommended English translations of the Jewish bible - the Tanakh.  No, it's not Christian.

Christianity has the OT which is often a mistranslation of the Tanakh.  And it has the NT which is about proving Jesus as a savior, Christianity and the odd bit of Revelation.

  2. Frau Asher has it right.  As with the Christian "Old Testament" there are various versions of the translated Tanakh (the same collection of books more or less, in a different order), although in the case of the Tanakh, each one is translated directly from the original Hebrew by Jewish scholars.  The Stone Edition is one that is very highly regarded for its scholarship.

  3. It's 100% Jewish.  It's the Stone edition of the Tanakh; there is also the Stone edition of the Torah. I often recommend them both on this site to anyone wanting an accurate version of the Jewish scriptures.

  4. It's what happens when you have stone the non-believers.
