What is the Maori name for..?

I am trying to find out the Maori names for "Lisa" and "Wayne"

for a friend of mine.

Any suggestions would be great and please no rotten comments.

  1. Lisa (Elizabeth) would be Erihapeti.

    Amil is probably the closest to Wayne.  Amil means "a worker," and Wayne is a wainwright (wagonmaker).

    "Wakona" or "wakena" is Maori for "wagon," but it's not a name.


  2. For Elizabeth and or Lisa I have found the Maori name: Irihapeti.

    There's none for Wayne that I can see
