What is the Meaning of L/D in arriving at the costing of a garment in UK?

example : If GBP4.68 is the L/D Price of a garment then the duty is GBP 1.62. So what is meant by L/D price

  1. not sure but by the sounds of it, you're importing the item, i think.....

    i'm thinking the shipping/postal service woul be able to tell you since they're the ones who put an import declaration in on your behalf. it's not something i've heard of before.
