What is the Measures in place to reverse the effects of global warming?

Nothing.  

We are in a great place in time.  A path to self-destruction that our leaders will not and cannot stop.  Our immenent social economic collapse due to "peak oil" (in the next 5-10 years) will kill off most of the population.  The strong will survive.  What a coincidence that this is going to happen only decades before we get to the point of no return from global warming.  Better us go than the planet.  I see about 300 million surviving.  Those who know how to be self-sufficient and get out of the cities early.

There aren't any effects to reverse it because it doesn't exist! You can't stop the world from freezing over or pollution. Shoot, every time we exhale we pollute the Earth more. People swear its only mankinds fault for global warming... Stop listening to Al Gore and those D bags on CNN.

The current plan, (or rather the lack thereof), seems to be to consume the petroleum and thus quit emitting carbon dioxide with them.  Then, collapse the economies through mismanagement, decreasing demand as a result, and the combination of those effects will drastically reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

That's not a plan is it?  But that appears to be what's happening, and it will indeed result in fewer carbon emissions.

You mean global cooling? Where glaciers advance as far south as Toronto and sea levels drop so there is a land bridge across the Bering Sea? Where frost free days decrease making it impossible to grow crops?

Nothing you can do will reverse the effects of Climate Change/Global Warming!  

Global Warming is a normal cycle that Earth goes through - there have been tens of thousands of Global Warmings in our past!  This Global Warming is just one more cycle that good old Earth goes though every now and then!

PS!   Shhhhhhhh!  Don't tell old fat Al Gore - but over the past 10 years the Earth did not got any warmer!   This is why Global Warming is now called Climate Change!  You can't call this normal cycle the earth goes through "Global Warming" if the Earth did not get warm!
