What is the Mpg of a 2000-20004 V8 Ford Mustang ?? V6?

i know the v6 is gonna get better gas mileage but how much ?

whats the mpg for both of them ?

the V8 chuggs gas. you should get 14 city 19 highway. the V6 is more refined and efficient 18 city 23 highway. Please note all mileage varies. I can get 26 highway if I do alot of coasting and 21 in city if i take off very easily and stay under 3 RPM

The V6 gets about 3 MPG better than the V8. You should expect about 25 MPG from the V6 on the highway and about 22 from the V8 GT.

I actually own an 03 GT. When it was stock it was good for about 18-19 around town and about 23-24 highway. Obviously if you run it hard the mileage will go down. With a blower, 4.10 gears, exhaust,etc. I get 18 city 21 highway. The V6 will get about 2-3 MPG better than a stock V8. If you are concerned about fuel mileage this is not the car for you.
