What is the North American Union & Zeitgesist?

Retroray has offered an excellent answer, as usual. But in case the word "zeitgeist" is not clear, it is German (pronounced ts-eye-t-guy-st) and translates literally as "time-ghost." We understand that to mean "the spirit (or mood) of the times."

There is not an entity called the North American Union & Zeitgeist.  

There is a "group" that has formed to warn against what they call a "fraudulent zeitgeist," in the main created by the media, religion and education, in order to keep the "American people" uninformed and therefore ignorant of an alleged "plan" to form a "North American Union" consisting of the United States, Canada and Mexico that will eventually merge the three countries into one entity with a new currency controlled by elite power brokers.  

This "group" also warns against the escalation of such a "zeitgeist" that will lead to a "one world government," controlled by the rich and influential, that will strip "us" of our liberties. The "group" is consistent in its message that control of the media, religion and education is key to the creation the "false zeitgeist" needed to allow the "parade of horribes" that they describe to take place.

What do I think of this?  I regard the "warnings" as they appear and as they are described to be signs of paranoia; *however*, I do not dismiss some of the notions entirely (e.g., the social manipulation of people by the media -- particularly media that is controlled by very few and open only to "insiders").
