What is the Ontario G2 road test?

Question

OK i passed the G1 Written test, however i am not sure what exactly is the G2 test. I mean i know it is a road test but is it the same thing as a G1 Exist road test. Basically i want to know for the G2 road test will I have to learn to drive on the Highway? I thought G2 test was for roads and the G test was for the Highway? Am i wrong? I went to drivetest.ca and they call it the G1 Exist test, where excatly do you register for that

Currently i am registered for the G2 test on the road test booking site https://www.rtbo.rus.mto.gov.on.ca

One bit of advice, make sure you car is in working order! I thought I passed the test, and just as I was about to park @ the Drive Test center...my car turns off! The Instructor says he has to fail me (they still have a quota to meet), all over an air filter!

its a test that you drive and take the licence after 8 mounth from getting the g1 if you take a school driving test a year if you dont and you have to know all the rules and the signs and how to park and drive in the high way etc...

ok so listen im going to take my drive test in less then 2 weeks and im reading all sorts of stuff in regards to commen knowledge with driving ..obviously stopping obviously right of way but no one has takin the time to explain the true factor....the instructor wants to see you head moving to your mirrors...without doing this it means you have less visual on other vehicles in your surroundings...please people stop saying your such a great driver exspecially if your one that uses a cell phone..im a new driver have NEVER used a cell phone in my vehicle...i drive my kids ...and almost everyday some dumb a*s almosts wipes us out cause of the d**n thing ...if you need to be on the phone sooo much Stah the F home...im tierd of people thinking they are kings of the roads...my father is a Professional driver and yet he pulls off to a side street shuts down his vehicle and makes his calls back to people who call when driving...dont think im saying this because i wanna complain...think about the passengers in your vehicle or the ones next 2 you...thank you ....from.....Brantford Ontario Canada

for your G2 they are only checking for basic driving skills,  three point turning, parallel parking,  checking mirrors and blind spots, youll do fine

that's not true - at least not for Ontario? I mean i know my drivers school is teaching us to drive on the highway because our g2 requires we know how to drive on the highway in order to pass.
