  1. PTT is press to transmit and in which nokia phone this is provided.

Normally this is used for transmitters and receivers when you press this sw it transmits otherwise it receives because there one aerial is used for transmission and reception

  2. On a VHF radio the PTT button stands for "Push to Talk".  I've never heard of a phone likethat..but maybe it was a walkie talkie function???

  3. the PPT is the like the user above said Push To Talk it works sort of as a walkie talkie. For example some companies like Sprint that option is free. My advice is contact your Telephone's Co and ask them if its free and if it should work in India.

  4. PTT means "push to talk" it's basically a walkie talkie, you know a 2 way radio. it allows you to communicate to another party via the push of a button. the PTT function only works if your network supports it. you will have to contact your service provider to find out if you are able to utilize the option

  5. Push-to-talk (PTT), also known as Press-to-Transmit, is a method of conversing on half-duplex communication lines, including two-way radio, using a momentary button to switch from voice reception mode to transmit mode.

its not yet available in india..
