I have a panasonic pt 150 home cinema system. At its user guide , it says "it can open mp4 movies" but when I load mp4 movies it can't open or it can't recognised them. How can I use mp4 movies at my home cinema system???

  1. MP4 files must normally be converted to DVD format to be played. This needs conversion/burning software (see link 1).

The current instructions online at Panasonic for your HT don't mention MP4 (they do mention MPEG4 and DivX) -- which are considered "Data" type disks and accessed through the "other" menu tab, then "Data" and treated as folders/files to play.

    See the 2nd link.

    Hope this helps.

  2. It can probably play .AVI files that use the MPEG-4 (part 2) codec. These include xvid, divx, etc.

  3. needs conversion/burning software
